I just added 60 mp3 albums to My Documents/My Music. I already have playlists that point to My Music. Is there a way to get Winamp to automatically add the newest ones, without having to type a name for each album and drag the folder to winamp?

Nope, no way. However, if you import .m3u playlist files to a folder, winamp can watch for changes in that folder and automatically add them to the media library.
