well, i opened my case today to clean it (i did it gently) i didnt remove anything and i didnt even touch the CPU. i started my comp back up and now it seems like my CPU isnt working. i went to start cod4 and i got a Directx9 error. i tried other games too so its not just that. i then checked dxdiag and this is what showed up. (the first page was accurate, and even told me my processor type/name)

is it my CPU? my drivers? possibly just directx9?

any help is appreciated.

so its not recognizing one device, and my network adapters are screwed up too?

Yes, you need the network driver. To find out what the unknown driver is:

Right click on the device with the ? and select Properties, then click on the Details tab, then on Hardware ID in the drop-down box.You should see a hardware ID that looks like this: "PCI\VEN_4444&DEV_0016&SUBSYS_40090070&REV_01"

The 4 characters after the first _ are the Vendor ID and the 4 characters after the second _ are the Device ID. Go to this website ( http://www.pcidatabase.com/ ) and enter the Vendor ID and the Device ID and it will tell you what the device is. Then you can do an internet search for the drivers you need.
