Can someone help me please,
I am new to Vista, and every time i turn on (when in battery mode) i get a small warning box saying; 'wireless is connected. do you really want to turn off the wireless antenna?'

The only thing i have altered on the settings is the power options. i have chose the computer 'never' to switch off when not attended.

How do I choose a default option to say i dont want the antenna to be switched off?

Thanks

Paul

your computer must be set up to save power and turn off the wireless when unplugged

click start
type in power
choose power options
Choose the plan you are on when you unplug your power
click change plan settings
click change advances power settings
the third one down is called wiresless adapter settings click on that one
choose maximum performance

or just keep it on another plan when you unplug it.
I also keep mine on Maximum performance.
I don't care if I lose some battery
