I just bought my daughter a macbook and was sucessfull in setting up a network on my windows xp machine to allow her to copy files from the shared folders. However, I cannot seem to get the share to work correctly on the printer. I set the printer as a share, but cannot see it on the macbook. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, since I do not have alot of experience with the macbook. Thanks, Joyjg

Are you running Tiger or Leopard?

These may or may not work for you if you have Leopard and Vista.

Thanks for all the info, I did finally get the share to work on everything but the printer, which I now realize will not work without additional downloads on the macbook. Ending up buying a printer for the macbook to use. Thanks again for the replies and links. Joyjg
