I didn't know where to post this thread so I just chose this one. I am about to buy a mp3 player and was just wondering if any body can tell me when it says a player will only support a certain bitrate, say 32-128 does that mean it simply won't play the songs that are over 128 kbps or will it still play the song, just only at the max bitrate?

I believe thats the the highest quality it can play.
