i am trying to re-install trend micro P-cillin internet security 12, i had uninstalled it because of slowdown but i figured the problem out and it wasnt trend, so i need to know how to reinstall it. when i uninstalled it it said that my liscense was still in effect so i shouldnt have to buy it again. not sure what to do from here, becuase there is no .exe for reinstallation. any help would be nice

Since you have a valid license, why not try redownloading the setup software again and then reinstall.

Did it come preinstalled and did you use it in the past? If not, have you been using another anti-virus? Some manufacturers like Dell, HP, Gateway include anti-virus protection preinstalled on the systems they sell.

If it came preinstalled, it may be on the disk you received which includes other software. You can also directly download the software from Trend Micro's site or from here.

If you didn't get a CD then it may be part of your Recovery Disk or included in a Recovery Partition.

alright well now i have the software and im setting up, but it asks for a serial number that i dont have, trend did com pre-installed on my dell so im not sure where to find the serial
