pls help me. my usb is infected and i can't format or even delete the files. it keeps on saying that the disk is write protected even if it's not. even the latest updates from AVG, Nod32, and MacAfee can't delete the virus. thanks in advance for the help.

You said your anti-virus can't delete the virus. Does it
detect a virus? If so, what is the name of the threat and the specific file associated with it?
If your anti-virus is not detecting anything, then just because the disk is write protected does not mean its infected.
How are your trying to format your usb stick. There are instructions here if your not sure your doing it properly.

thanks for the reply, Quietman7. Sorry, i haven't been very specific. I'm new here. Yes, the latest anti-virus can detect the virus. The problem is, it can't delete it because it thinks that the usb is write protect even if it's not. I know for sure that the usb is not write protect because i have checked it many times. from the nod32, it says that the virus is win32/hagaklan.
