I have a computer that runs XP and Puppy Linux 2.14 I was pretty much comfortable using Linux while surfing on the net. After a month or so, the built-in LAn port failed that I then decided to use usb cable so that I could connect the computer to our DSL modem/Router .I was trying to find for Linux version of the driver from the CD that came with DSL modem but there was none. I wanted to switch back to Puppy linux considering that there might be an option to this which you guys may have knowledge about.
I do have Prolink Modem/Router.Thank you in advance.

Best bet is to locate a new NIC (they are about $10.00) failing that here is a
how-to for the ADSL USB modems. It mentions a ProLink Hurricane, but you did not
specify which model you have.
