I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4074, and absolutely adore it, except for one itty bitty problem. When I play an audio CD on it, small pops can be heard from the speakers and the music is slow. I have determined that the pops are not emanating from the drive, so it's not physical. It does this with any audio CD.
I have tried using a CD-ROM of some sort to see if the drive itself were running slow, but it worked just fine.
FYI, I use Windows Media Player to play CDs (I know, I know, but it's what works for me. Well, erm, kinda at the moment. LOL).
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
EDIT: It plays at normal speed on VLC Player, but the 'pops' are still present.
