G'day all,

One of my machines has started booting with a stop error and is telling me to run an diagnostic test on the ram.

I'm not sure how to do this.....can anybody help please ?

Try this "Jack".

I just used it today on an E-machine of my daughters....

Ran the program. Didn't come up with anything. Pulled out one stick of ram and it booted ok. Placed the ram stick into the third slot leaving the second one empty and bingo, works fine. Put it back into the second slot - works fine too. Go figure.

Maybe a badly seated ram stick ? Who knows........
