What can you tell me about this product. My brother bought me one to try. I already had the chip. I personally would not have bought it but now that I have it what can anyone tell me about it. The computer I am going to try it on is a Dell GX1 PIII 500/100 , BIOS A07 . Will this product hurt my compute ? The Celeron I have has 1.75 volt but the Dell is 2.0 volts. Will the Slocket adjust to the difference in voltage .

Its really hard to tell you if the motherboard has a variable voltage level. Your best bet is to look on the dells support site and they should give you the upgrade path for the processors. If its listed then your good to go

Thanks . I went there first . They only refer to standard chip upgrades. Or atleast that is all I can find . The machines I have , according to Dell , top out at P-III 500mhz with the A07 BIOS upgrade . A site called PowerLeap offers a product simular to theslocket , but it has it's own regulator that supercessed Dell's onboard . I keep looking Thank you for the advise .
