Hello forum i will start with a shot description. I have a windows me system dual boot with XP and i cant get it to use the dsl Modem. I had gone to the windows ipcfg editor and the NIC sees the correct ip for the service but i cant get it to go online. Talked with verizons tech support to noi avail. Is there a way to get the me to reset its settings if any for the use of dsl? I had tried to remove and reinstall the network 9nterface but it didnt help. Thanks in advance.

Try run the New Connecton Wizard under XP and create a floppy. Use that floppy with ME . I had a simular problem on one of my computers and it did the trick.
