i will be using this guide http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp to partition my vista drive for xp pro. it says to use g parted here: http://apcmag.com/5023/dual_booting_xp_with_vista

however. i cant seem to burn the iso right. im using cdburner xp pro and it doesnt boot itself like it should am i doing something wrong or is there a easier approach to this? please help.

Make sure you're burning the .ISO as a CD image file and not just burning the file to a disk, the latter won't work.

In CDBurnerXP the steps are:

1. Start CdBurner XP Pro
2. Choose File
3. Choose Write Disc from ISO file
4. Browse for the ISO-image file
5. Choose "Write Disc"

and then i put the cd in the drive and restart my computer?
