hey!

My laptop has windows vista and evey time is start it up it say:

windows explorer has stopped working

Then goes onto:

Windows explorer is restarting

I read the other post about this topic, but every time is try and press F8 repeatly nothing seems to happen, i have disable google add ons.

My norton internet sercurity doesnt pick up anything.

I can get onto the internet, and use it, just have to put up with the "windows explorer has stopped working" box.

I cant get onto My documents or My computer or anything.

when i go onto the internet a page pops up saying that i have a spybot@mxttrojan virus, and gives me things to downlaod, so i click run, but nothing happens, and my internet sercurity is stopping free scans from happening.

I donr know what else to try. I have tryed downloading anti virus/malware but i cant get to it on my laptop.

Any other suggestions would be a great help..

thanks

hayley

If you have Vista, DO NOT use the Smitfraudfix tool. Super Antispyware has had success removing the malware you have.
Use the Smitfraudfix tool in the link below. Read the instructions carefully.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php

Followup with the programs below to remove malware that accompanies the Smitfraud malware.
Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
