Well, always when I start my PC I get this error message (while the desktop is loading all autorun programs)
(I'm using Windows 2000)

This is the Error message. (not 1:1 like it's written because I had to translate it into english.)


"RUNDLL

Failed to load: C:\WINNT\system32\nxxxkqc.dll

Cannot be found."


There's no failure while using windows 2000 but I want to fix this. (but I dont know how...)
I was searching the .dll file at google but there were no results found.
So I hope that someone here can tell me how to fix this problem.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

I did a google search on that dll file. No results, just as you said.

Chances are excellent that this is malware. The error message means that Windows attempted to run the dll file but it is missing. Probably the file was deleted or quarantined by your antivirus or antispyware program. Please tell us what antispyware and antivirus programs you are running. If there is a logfile created by one of those programs, it may be possible to identify your infection from the log.

thanks for reading and trying to help me at my problem.

These are the programs I am currently using for keeping my PC clean.
- AntiVir PE Classic
- Spybot Search & Destroy
- Ad-Aware 2007

You wrote something about Malware...
I have also another problem (maybe Malware? I dont know)
The other problem is that there is program what is running (randomly) what is making sounds (It's reporting of new things on the marked etc). The application is called "svhoster.exe" [I know this because it only stop's playing this sounds when I cancel it via task manager.] )

Would be nice if you know any program/s what can fix these two problems.
(I don't care about trial versions)

Try scanning your machine with SuperAntiSpyware Please be sure to run all updates and to run a full system scan.

I downloaded SuperAntiSpyware and downloadet the last update.
Lookslike this program founds a lot of problems.

Here's a detailed list of them:

- Trojan.Net-SvHoster - 5 (Detected Items)
- Adware.Vungo Variant - 7 (Detected Items)
- Adware.Tracking Cookie - 201 (Detected Items)
- Malware. VirusProtectPro - 86 (Detected Items)

Now, after I rebooted my PC the svhoster.exe and the svhost.exe isnt running anymore.
The Rundll error message is still shown.

Rundll32.exe is a legit Windows file that loads .dll files which too can be legit or malware related. The Cannot find... error message usually occurs when the associated .dll has been removed. The file may have been removed during an anti-virus scan or use of a specialized fix tool. However, an associated registry entry is telling Windows to load it when you boot up.

If the file was removed but not the entry, Windows will display an error message indicating that the file was not found. You need to remove this registry entry so Windows stops searching for the program when it loads. To resolve this download and run Autoruns, search for the related entry and then delete it.

If that does not resolve your problem, then post a hijackthis log as oldf@rt has suggested.
