I accidentally rubbed some magnets across my screen and now it's messed up, I turned it off for an hour, waited, came back, it still looked weird. Finally, I went out with some friends, came back 5 hours later (now) and it's still has weird colors on the screen. My screen is the type where you turn off the monitor and it refreshes all those things. What can I do to fix this? Wait? Or what? I can't afford a technical repair right now.

Check in the monitor menu (by pressing on the buttons on it) for a degauss feature. . .Sometimes that works.

This is a CRT type monitor by the sound of your problem, the monitor has a built in degaussing circuit that should eventually get it back to normal. Depending on the monitor it may have a button that will allow you to manually degauss it. Either check with the users guide for this function of google the make and model for the instructions.

I got to know-how do you "accidentally" drag magnets across the screen? If the other suggestions don't work, there is an "old school" way to do it, but it requires a large magnet
