Hi,

at last I changed my so many times (not with much success, I have to say) updated computer with a new one sporting an asus P5N32-E SLI Plus motherboard and a quad cpu. Do you think I have to use the sound add on card of the motherboard, which I am told to be rather good, or do I have to install the sound blaster X-fi extreme gamer to get, may be, better performances?. I bought the sound blaster as a last attempt to improve my old PC.

Thanks in advance

If you have it already, stick with the sound blaster. The creative cards have EAX etc, which is better for games than any onboard or supplied audio. I have the P5n32-SLI Premium and I use the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS... smile.gif
