So I have been researching Protection Methods ever since I received my computer almost a year ago. I have tried random programs and this is what I currently use. My question(s) is this: Do I have too much protection? (IE overlaps in protection that isn't needed or stuff that will just slow my computer down) Do you have any suggestions of programs I do not have or programs to swap out? What I am looking for is a maximum level of security that will not slow down my machine. I have 3.0ghz processor speed, 2 gigs of ram, and a Geforce 7600 GT graphics card if any of this helps in your analysis. Thanks a lot BC for all your help ;) Frankie.

As long as you follow computer security best practices, you seem to have a very sound and layered protection from an application standpoint. I might suggest adding AVG's AS application, but that is entirely up to you.

John
