Yep.

I've tried DriveSentry.

It isn't bad if you don't mind a few popups....but i used it when my computer was riddles with viruses.......and i got like a billion popups...so i got rid of it.

I would rather just scan my computer regularly with products like Spybot SD, wihich is much less annoying.

Hope my opinion helps smile.gif

does it work in protecting or is it really not worth it ?

Probably not worth spending any money. PC Mags review said this "Numerous pop-up queries require the user to identify malware. Online advice ineffective. Failed to block some malware, including rootkits and Trojan horses. Self-protection failed in testing."

whoa sounds like that program's a l.o.s.e.r. i totaly agree with oldfart (wish i could say that to my professor and get away with it). i vouch for spybot cuz it just saved my computer along with ad-aware 2007, spywareblaster, NAV, and ATF-Cleaner

Agreed.

I found it to be rather annoying, and the online advice was useless.....not worth paying any money for.

It's better just to have reliable scanners/real time protection that doesn't involve DriveSentry

I think Drivesentry is a HIPS. It cannot be used instead of antivirus software.
And you should note whether it has conflict with your other security software. Sometimes, the conflict is so severe.
