How to remove Ultimate Defender (Removal Instructions) What these programs do: Ultimate Defender is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses altered desktop backgrounds, fake security alerts, and other malware to advertise and install itself. The altered desktop background is actually a link to download Ultimate Defender. That means if you click anywhere on your desktop, it will automatically attempt to download the installation program. When Ultimate Defender is run, it will automatically scan your computer and provide exaggerated or false results. In order to clean your computer from these "so-called" infections, though, you will need to pay to register the program. Your computer should now be free of the Ultimate Defender infection.
