If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido. http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/ Once the updates are installed do the following:

That's got rid of the unknown process. My firewall did have to block it's attempt to access the internet when I was removing it but it seems to have disappeared now. Here's the new log:
