When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Greetings! I am pretty frustrated at this point-my browser is hijacked, and it is getting harder and harder to access the internet. My norton 2009 has given me a clean bill of health-as well as windows defender-so no help from them! I have switched now to firefox, and still (of course) have problems. A clue to the hijacker is that the browser at times directs me to "tooseeka", as well a a mishmash of other sites none really out of the ordinary. Norton info referred me to "hijack this" from here I was referred to your site. I do have a log from hijack this but will not post until requested I just hope I can get back to the forum to see what advice you have for me. Thank you in advance for your help!
Just wanted to add that I have windows XP home edition.....
A few other symptoms: I cannot access task manager by pushing control, alt, delete. I am okay going to google, but then get redirected once I make a website choice. If I click backspace, I will be directed to the site I intended to arrive at. As long as I am at that site, I have no problems. If I choose to open another browser window, with one already open, the system will lock up. My computer is locking up frequently-and the only way I can resolve is by turning it off without shutdown procedure.. I have to click on browser shortcut twice (once-wait-then click again) to get my browser window to appear.
