Just to further clarify Grinler's status on this site. Not only is he an administrator. He is the administrator and site owner. whistling.gif

And I think I can speak for Grinler, and the rest of the staff and say thank you for those kind words. thumbup2.gif

Wow! A Norton scandal!

There are different levels of privacy protection in different countries. It's possible that Norton has not yet made a statement, because they're not sure if they're within their legal rights and are looking into this before giving a response.

I suppose the question is, should customers be told, if everytime they walk through the door of a department store, the brand labels on their clothing are registered along with their weight and sent off to a statistical institute for analysis in order for the store to improve its buying strategies.

Great explanation, Grinler!
Thanks very much!

Typical Norton thinking. I never use Norton products now after having lots of problems with one of their products a while ago and not getting any answers from Norton. In these recession days its time Norton started to listen to their customers.

I have used various Symantec products since 1983. I stopped using any Symantec products in 2006. Takes care of these kind of issues for me. thumbup2.gif

Grinler is very much wiser than I on these kinds of things but I want to share a thought. If you feel happy and safe using Symantec products keep using them. If your not sure,IMHO I would find a interned security system that I did feel happy and safe with.
