Move the cursor to the address bar: ALT + D F6 will also do this, in FF, IE, Opera, and Windows Explorer. -------------------- |

Move the cursor to the address bar: ALT + D F6 will also do this, in FF, IE, Opera, and Windows Explorer. Interesing: F3 - Find F5 - Reload F11 - Full Screen F7 does something strange... what's that? Anybody has an idea how I could define shortcuts myself? E.g. when I press ALT-B it automatically load bleeping computer. -------------------- Message from Patbox: I AM LOOKING FOR A GIRLFRIEND (PM if interested) :-)

Anybody has an idea how I could define shortcuts myself? E.g. when I press ALT-B it automatically load bleeping computer. Firefox Addon: Keyconfig Bleeping Computer Custom Search Engine: BleepingComputer.xml How to add the Bleeping Computer custom search engine to Firefox's Search Bar: 1. Save the above linked file (bleepingcomputer.xml, you may need to right-click and Save As) to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins (replace "C:" if Firefox is installed on another drive). 2. Restart Firefox. Bleeping Computer should appear in the list of available Search Engines. (Note: The Bleeping Computer custom search only searches the forums and is compatible with any browser that supports OpenSearch including Firefox 2+ and Internet Explorer 7+) Edit: Fixed link to bleepingcomputer.xml This post has been edited by Amazing Andrew: Mar 24 2009, 05:23 PM -------------------- |

For me the the most useful is "Re-open the last closed tab: CTRL + Shift + T", because I sometimes close tabs by mistake, and there is no other way to get it back but "CTRL + Shift + T".

Move the cursor to the address bar: ALT + D F6 will also do this, in FF, IE, Opera, and Windows Explorer. Didn't move the cursor to the addy bar on mine (Vista x64), just highlighted the addy bar. Cursor stayed where it was. This normal? I've found a lot of things different about Vx64. . |

By cursor, do you mean the mouse pointer or the little vertical line that tells you where you're typing? -------------------- |

LOL, the mouse cursor sorta stays where it is. The F6 just highlights the address bar and lets you type the page you want to.
