If I were to click on the remove button does it simply remove them from the quarrantine or permantley delete the file? Im doubting that its the former as that would be a bit pointless but I thought maybe it was a safeguard against false positives, etc. Maybe the paranoia is just setting in but if someone could put my mind at ease. I dont want to be unwillingly releasing these horrors back onto my machine Thank you. -------------------- Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Files are quarantined in such a manner that they present no harm to your computer, but so that (say if they are "false-positives) they can be recovered if they are needed.
There are two options available in Managing Quarantined Items: Restore a file to your hard drive in its original state. Remove a file completely from your hard drive (i.e., "delete" it). Best practices suggest that you leave newly found malware files in quarantine for a time, rather than immediately delete them.
