Whenever I use a browser (IE or Mozilla) to locate a website under Google Search, then click on the link found in Google, what I get is another site(s) altogether. This does not happen if I paste the URL directly into the Google URL space.
I have Trend Micro Internet Security 2009, and it detected nothing.
I have run, as suggested, Ad-Aware (three times) and Spybot.
Panda Anti Virus insisted that I uninstall Trend Micro, which I did not do; instead, I cancelled Panda.
Bit Defender ran, but as far as I can tell , did not save a file; it also restarted my computer.
I then ran MCAfee Cleaner.
I then ensured that Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 Firewall is turned on.
Windows Update detected nohing needing updating.
I then ran HijackThis; the log is below.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop:

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
