File Description:

CWShredder is a small utility for removing CoolWebSearch (aka CoolWwwSearch, YouFindAll, White-Pages.ws and a dozen other names). Spybot S&D and Ad-aware tend to forget essential parts of the hijack, so until they update, you can use this to completely remove the hijack. This program is no longer updated.

For information on the CoolWebSearch variants it can remove, read this article by Merijn:

The CoolWebSearch Chronicles

Usage Instructions:

Download this file and extract it into the directory c:\cwshredder. Navigate to that directory and double-click on CWShredder.exe. Make sure all Internet Explorer and my computer windows are closed, then click on the Fix button. CWShredder will then attempt to remove any variants it knows how to.

Note: If CWShredder immediately closes when you run it, you may be infected with a CWS variant that shuts down CWShredder. Please download the CoolWWWSearch.SmartKiller removal tool and run it before attempting to run CWShredder again.
